The Document Portal offers two separate but equally valuable functions: the facility can provide documents for download and applicants can upload documents for review by the facility.

Document Downloads - This function is most often used to meet two needs: (1) offer PDF's of job descriptions and (2) to provide required supportive documents such as background checks and other clearances.

You begin by creating one or more "pages" of documents. As an example, let's assume you add a "job descriptions" page and a "required forms" page. You can then upload an unlimited number of documents onto each page. Want to restrict viewing to only "real" applicants? The Portal allows you to designate whether a page can be viewed always or only after an applicant logs into the Portal.

Applicant Uploads - This utility allows applicants to upload supporting documents you may wish to review. Examples include resumes, short videos, Power-Point presentations, scans of certifications, etc. The uses are limitless. Each applicant is afforded 5MB of storage - enough to meet the needs of most employers.

Facility Uploads - Use this facility to add protected information to an applicant's digital file. Scan references, letters of recommendation, transcripts, etc. The applicant cannot see these documents, but they remain easily accessible by company managers. There is no storage limit for facility-initiated uploads.

Scanning Service - For applicants without the ability to scan and upload documents, the NHIemployment Document Processing Service invites documents to be sent to our office. We will scan the documents, provide a tracking and verification barcode, and upload them to the applicant's digital file. There is a a modest fee for this add-on service based on the number of employees in your company.
