Required Documentation

There are documents that are required to be received by facilities before an applicant can be considered for employment. Some examples include state/federal background checks, copies of license or insurance coverage, etc.

The Required Documentation facility of the Healthcare Jobs Portal forces applicants to provide these documents before posting for a position. For each of six required document, as determined by the facility, the applicant must provide one of the following responses:

  • "I have uploaded the document to my application" (applicant selects the appropriate file from his/her online document folder)
  • "I will mail the documentation to the facility"
  • "I cannot provide this documentation" (applicant must explain)

In some cases, you may wish to "request" but not "require" a document. Take for example a current resume. It may be nice to receive, but may not be absolutely necessary. It's up to you. The Healthcare Jobs Portal is convenient to customize to meet your exact needs.

When a document is received by the facility (or by NHIemployment on your behalf), a quick click marks the document as received and the applicant is automatically alerted.
